Building a Thriving Ronan: The Pilot Community Tourism Grant Program (PCTGP)

A Strong Foundation
The city has completed a Downtown Master Plan and Economic Development Strategic Plan, which provide a roadmap for revitalization efforts.

Shovel-Ready Projects
Several projects, such as wayfinding signage, public art installations, and brownfield redevelopment, are already in place and can quickly gain traction with funding.

Established Local Businesses
Businesses like the Ronan Cooperative Brewery serve as economic anchors, attracting both locals and visitors.

Engaged Community & Events
Ronan hosts vibrant events like Brewfest, Lights Under the Big Sky, and the Chainsaw Rendezvous, demonstrating strong community engagement.
A Regional Program
The Pilot Community Tourism Grant Program is a five-year regional initiative serving Lake, Sanders, and Mineral counties and the Flathead Indian Reservation. It helps communities across Western Montana invest in downtown revitalization, tourism infrastructure, cultural heritage projects, and visitor-ready experiences. This regional approach supports multiple towns and partners, ensuring that our entire area benefits from sustainable tourism growth.
